Is Day Trading Right For You?
Day trading is a diverse kind of trading style, often misconstrued and hardly ever done well. Also, day trading stock also is hard to understand especially for someone who has no background about the subject.
If you find it hard to decipher whether day trading is really for you, then you have to ask yourself some questions:
1) Do I enjoy watching trading day stocks move? If the answer is on the negative, you probably aren’t going to enjoy the venture. Like anything else, those who enjoy it are much more likely to become successful traders.
2) Can I accept defeat? Day trading is a game of numbers. Even the most successful day traders are wrong 40-50% of the time. Accepting that a trade is not working out and exiting the position before it hits a catastrophe is important to day trading success.
3) Can I separate emotion from trades? Day trading and emotions simply do not blend. One way to help you separate the two is to start with a low amount of money in each trade.
4) Do I understand technical analysis? Technical analysis is the only method of analyzing stocks. And you have to master this technique to get that edge in the industry.
