How To Improve Your Stock Market Trading Results
As the maxim goes, there are more ways to kill a cat than by choking it to death with butter. This is also true with online stock market trading. And in improving your trading results, it is but necessary to consider the following:
1. If the lead stochastic crosses over the 20 band regard this as a possible buy signal, and if it crosses below 80, then it would be a sell signal.
2. If you are a newbie to stock market trading, begin with low lots of share. Avoid jumping in with orders for 1000+. A trade with 100 shares going against you is easier to take than one with 1000.
3. Use various charts and pattern to guide you in trading. Charts like 60, 13, 8, 3, and 1 minute will enable you to see the larger picture. If the 60, 13, and 8 minute charts are in an uptrend, look at the 3/1 minute charts for an entry into the trend, such as when the lead stochastic moves up from the 20 band. Never fight the trend of the longer time frames. However, if your trade is going against the major trend, remember that you won’t want to dwell in it for too long.
4. Be wary about stocks that have a remarkable gap at the open, either up or down. Stocks that have gapped are likely to have good volume and swings in price, unraveling good trading opportunities. A gap is defined by the opening of the bar being greater or less than the close of the previous bar.
5. Know where your exit points and stop loss value are. It is important to take losses and not let a losing trade vanish while you hope it will turn in your favor later on. It might not be the case.
